What is SUP Yoga?

SUP Yoga combines traditional yoga practice with nature and adventure, to deliver a dynamic and peaceful experience on the water.

The many wonderful benefits of yoga are enhanced when fused with SUP. Yoga when performed on top of the water, increases core stability, improves balance and provides a whole body work out.

Our anchored boards provide participants with safe and sturdy platforms as we flow through an infusion of pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (postures) and relaxation.

Whether you are a paddle boarder, a yogi or neither, SUP Yoga will cater for all.

Where 

Be Yoga currently operates SUP Yoga classes in various locations in Mandurah depending on the wind and weather conditions (Perth classes currently on hold). Please note, you will be notified the exact location 24hrs prior to your class. Parking is in abundance in all locations.

COST

Purchase single or multiple class passes.

75 Minute SUP yoga Class
Incl Board Hire

1 Class Pass $45
3 Class Pass $120 ($40 p/class)
5 Class Pass $175 ($35 p/class)

Please note there is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 students per session. Bookings are essential due to popularity.

All class passes purchased must be used in the current SUP yoga season (Nov – Apr). Gift Vouchers also available.

We offer private group bookings for:

• Hens parties;
• Fitness groups; and
• School groups.

OTHER INFO

What we provide

  • Be Yoga supplies all your equipment (board, paddle, anchor and sunscreen) and of course expert tuition.

What you bring

  • Wear your bathers or clothing you can move freely in and are comfortable getting wet in;

  • Water bottle;

  • Towel / change of clothes; and

  • Hat and sunglasses (these can come off easily during some poses but feel free to give them a go).

Registered yoga instructor and certified SUP instructor, Tess Barretto runs classes every Saturday and Sunday (conditions dependant) at 7:00-8:15am and 8:30-9:45am.

Our Classes

FLOAT & flow SUP Yoga

Never SUP’d? Never practiced yoga? Or, do you just feel like a slow & steady practice on the water? This class is just for you!

Our Float & Flow classes are designed to familiarise you with the equipment we use and introduce you to basic paddling techniques.

We will then move through a series of gentle fluid movements linking mind, body and breathe concluding class with a soothing paddle on the water.

Our classes will build your confidence, core strength, improve your balance and enhance flexibility while being fun and carefree. 

We allow for a maximum of 8 people per class to ensure a safe and personal experience.

All ages and abilities welcome.

Intermediate SUP YoGA

Already SUP and practice yoga? Ready to step it up? This class is just for you!

Our Intermediate classes are designed for those of you who feel confident on a SUP and those wanting to experience a faster, more challenging practice.

In these classes there will be less focus on instruction allowing more time on the water for yoga and exploring the waters paddling as a group.

We allow for a maximum of 8 people per class to ensure a safe and personal experience.

You will leave this class feeling invigorated, revitalised and ready to go!
